Sanctuary on the Green Rental Opportunities

The Sanctuary on the Green may be used as a venue for Arts, Cultural, and Community events, as well as religious services, and includes use of the Narthex (Lobby) and access to restrooms.

The Sanctuary on the Green remains a practicing place of worship. We ask that outside rental groups be respectful of this when determining whether our space is a good fit for your event, and throughout your time on the premises.

AVAILABLE SPACES

SANCTUARY

Historic Sanctuary with original pew seating. Mobile stage extension is available. Second floor balcony may be used for lighting, tech, etc. but not for additional seating. The main entrance is through the narthex/lobby facing the town green, with a handicapped accessible entrance on Broad Street.

NARTHEX (LOBBY)

The Narthex may be used as a lobby and box office area for events.

RESTROOMS

Access from the Sanctuary to the first-floor restrooms (including handicapped accessible stalls) is via door to the right of the Chancel (stage).

ANCILLARY SPACES

Some groups may require ancillary spaces in addition to the above, for example as a “backstage,” for costume changes, or for a reception or after party. These are available for an additional fee. Please contact the church for more information on these ancillary spaces.

PARKING

Parking in Bloomfield Board of Education lot as available. Spaces may be reserved by prior request of the Church to the Bloomfield Board of Education as needed as available, according to terms.

SEATING & STAGE

  • Seating: 250+ original pews seats 
  • Stage extension available

LIGHTING & SOUND

Theatrical lighting and other such equipment may be used by persons properly trained and authorized ahead of time by the Church. 

  • Lighting: Lights are available in the Sanctuary. Contact the church for more information.
  • Sound: Renters need to supply their own sound equipment as none is provided with the space.
